PLEASE READ – Staking out Parade seating area
Staking-Out Your Spot along the Parade Route The Huntington Beach Municipal Code, section 12.32.015 states the requirements for "staking out" an area along the parade route. Staking is not permitted before 7 am on July 3rd. Adhesive tape is not to be used to mark off an area on the pavement; chalk is permitted. All is public property and staking out does not guarantee claim to the area staked out.
